Well I wouldn't say I 'hated it' but it did give me a jolt . . . Hadn't really thought of anything more than vague celtic environs . . . But now who knows . . . Can't wait to find the source of her whole 'crossing consternation..' . . . Bigorrah . . . Sorry!

I liked the overall atmosphere created by this chapter and the feeling it is suggesting.

I hope you don't mind me saying this but I really hated:

"“Top o’ the morning"

Throughout the story you have created a fantastic atmosphere, we don't know where we are, no country has been identified although there are Celtic references in the dream and the names. I like that, it could be another world or our own little corner. That one phrase spoils that for me - makes her a bit of a Hollywood caricature.

Yah, was the first one You definitely opened up a can of worms with the “omg they’re UNHOLY” bit, and I was curious just how, or why, and what the implications are going to be. Tiergan slid past the woman’s guard even after his obvious “can’t you see I WORK for these evil mofos” act grin

You set up that atmosphere quite well, even without the “Whatever could it mean?” bit at the end

If you are referring to the very first comment, then that definitely wasn't meant as smug. This scene wrote itself. I really have no idea what I'm going to do with it.
